Heta mew mew ch2: one weird day

"Italy get up!" Germany yelled.

Italy opened his eyes and rubbed them a bit, "ahhh, It's gonna rain."

Germany scowled, "Get up, you were later than usual because you over slept and now you fell asleep again."

Italy got up, "I'm sorry! I just can't seem to get enough sleep!"

Germany crossed his arms, "Since you fell asleep you are going to run three miles before you can eat lunch."

Italy was about to speak but Germany narrowed his gaze and Italy sighed starting to run. Germany ran behind Italy to make sure he kept a decent pace, on the last leg of the run Italy ran across the road without paying attention and Germany stopped, "ITALY WATCH OUT!" Italy turned his head to see a car coming towards him the driver was texting and not paying attention. Without putting thought into it Italy jumped going over the car as it passed him and landed on his feet, Italy ran to the other side confused, how did he do that?!

Germany ran over, "Italy are you hurt?!"

Italy shook his head, "No."

"Since when could you do something like that?" Germany asked.

"I. I don't know," Italy answered scratching his head.

Germany sighed, "I suppose the important part is that you didn't get hurt. Now come on, Japan is waiting on us."

Italy nodded and they returned to the training spot where Japan had set out their lunches, "Wercome back."

Italy sat down in front of his lunch, "After that run I'm super hungry!"

"None for me," Germany said, "I need to file some papers." Germany then left.

Japan sat down, "Oh werr."

Italy smiled picking up his fork, "time to dig in!" Italy picked up some food putting it in is mouth.

"uuuh, Itary," Japan said. Italy looked at Japan who had a very confused expression, "I now you are hungry but that is my sarted tuna you have in your mouth."

Italy glanced down and saw the tuna in his mouth. Italy opened his mouth gasping and the tuna fell in his Italy's actual lunch pasta, "I. I'm sorry!!" Italy got up running off.

Japan sighed, "So much for runch."

Italy stopped catching his breath in a near by park, "hff. hff. Oh man, today has been so weird." Italy sighed, "I can't get enough sleep, I'm super acrobatic, I ate Japan's lunch, what is going one nya!?!" Italy covered his mouth, did he just say 'nya', like a cat? Italy slapped his cheeks, "ahh get it together, nya."

A drop of water hit the top of Italy's head and he looked up as it started to rain, the weather was suppose to be nice wasn't it? The rain only lasted a few minutes and Italy had taken shelter under a tree until it passed. Italy hook off some of the water that had gotten on him, maybe he should just go home, today was to weird for him.

"Italy?! Italy where are you?!"

Italy perked up, "Germany?"

Germany noticed Italy and walked towards him with an umbrella, "What are you doing out here Italy?"

"Why are you out here Germany?" Italy asked.

"Japan said you ran off acting weird, and then it started raining, I was seeing if you were okay and here to give you an umbrella," Germany answered

Italy smiled, "Thank you Germany!"

Germany sighed, "Your welcome, now come on."

Italy was about to peak when he saw something move from the corner of hi eye, "Uh? Germany did you see that?"

"No, now come on," Germany said.

Italy looked back and screamed, "AAHHH! GERMANY BEHIND YOU!"

Germany quickly turned and in front of them was a giant rat with glowing red eyes. It hissed and then raised a claw to strike. "WATCH OUT!" Germany yelled as he grabbed Italy shielding him with his body. The rat his Germany hard and they were sent tumbling a couple feet away.

Italy sat up but Germany was unconscious, Italy shook Germany crying, "Get up! We have to run!" Germany didn't move and the rat came closer. Italy screamed but then someone grabbed him landing on a tree limp. Italy looked at him, a blonde teenager?

"Are you okay? Italy?" The teen asked.

Italy pushed the teen off him, "Who are you?! How do you know my name!?"

The teen smirked, "I'm Ryou Shirogane, I know you have a lot of questions about what is going on but I need you to do something first." He pointed at the rat, "Beat it."

Italy backed up, "WHAT!? HOW?!"

A floating pink ball with wings floated up and from its mouth a yellow oval with red markings came out, "Take this and the rest will come naturally," Ryou said putting it in Italy's hand.

"I still don't get it!" Italy said shivering.

Ryou pointed to Germany, "He won't survive if you don't stop that monster from killing him." Italy looked at Germany shaking, for a brief moment his eyes glowed red. Ryou pushed Italy, "well get to it!"

Italy started falling but then he had words coming to him, Italy spoke them, "Mew mew Italy! metamorphose!" Italy landed on the ground changed, his clothes were replaced by a short puffy dress, bands on his arms and right leg, red gloves and boot, a collar around his neck with the oval jewel hanging from it, his eyes were pink, and his brown hair was a light pink. Though those were strange the weirdest part was he had a black tail with a red bow and bell tied to the end and cat ears!! Italy looked out his outfit his face turning bright red from embarrassment, "W.What?!"

The rat lunged for Italy and Italy jumped to the side avoiding it when more words came to him, "Tomato Bell bell!" The bell on his tail glowed and produced a heart shaped object with a bell at the top, "Uh?"

The rat attacked and Italy held out the bell and it created a shield around him that zapped the rat making it back up. Italy gulped looking at the bell then the rat, "Now you see here you scary monster! You hurt my friend and I won't let that go!" Italy bent his arms up then knelt his hands down, "For that I will make you pay! The rat attacked and Italy jumped up avoiding it landing on a wall, the rat roared and Italy raised the bell up, "Ribbon! Tomato check!" A bright light and the rat shrunk back down to normal size with a jellyfish like creature coming out of it's body. The strange pink ball flew to eat eating it and the rat ran off.

Italy ran to Germany kneeling beside him, "Germany!"

Ryou walked up, "Good work."

Italy stood, "What is going on!? Why am I like this!?"

Ryou poked Italy's nose, "Put it simple. Starting now you are a super hero."

Italy was confused, "H. HERO!?"

An older man wearing very nice clothes walked up, "Yes, it is a pleasure to meet you." He gave a slight bow, "My name is Keiichiro Akasaka."

Ryou sighed, "Really Keiichiro?"

Kiichiro stood up straight, "Well he is our special guest. So please Mr.Italy allow me to drive you back to our headquarters."

"But what about Germany?!" Italy asked.

"We can take care of it," Ryou said, "Besides how are you going to explain your current look to him?"

Italy looked at the tail that slightly swished around behind him, "I suppose."

Ryou looked at the pink ball, "R2000, handle it."

Ryou walked on to their car and Italy followed with Kiichiro, he gave one last look at Germany before getting in the car
